But let's not get ahead of ourselves now, ya hear? First things first, we've got some goings-ons here TONIGHT:

Richard Metzger's newest episode of MAGICK SHOW has been released and we're doing an encore FREE SCREENING of it at 6pm on Tonight to help Kim Vavrick celebrate her 63rd birthday. Come check out the second episode of this wonderful series and wish Kim luck as she journeys into the land of AARP.

The episode we're showing tonight is all on WITCHCRAFT. Pulling from over 50 interviews with many of today's most public practitioners, MAGICK SHOW takes you through the history, the present and the future of the arcane arts. Come by, enjoy the show on us and meet some other practitioners and curious folk alike.

Wednesday is a few people's favorite annual tradition here at IBW LODGE #1: THE BLACKEST OF WEDNESDAYS. 

Designed to offer you refuge from your family on the Night Before Thanksgiving, this raucous little event has grown a life of its own over the years much in the way our army of Gingerbread Men have become autonomous beings activating their golem-like programming in surprising and effective ways!

This year, as always, we're releasing WAR ON XMAS. This year's flavor is GINGERBREAD MAN. You get that familiar 11% white lactose stout base you know and love, but this year it's going to taste like you have lovely little gingerbread men dancing across your wagging tongue. Hot.

We'll have live Tarot Readings from The Emerald Acorn and fresh and hot pizza from THE PIZZA DOM. 

At 9pm we'll be showing Gary Busey's magnum opus, "GINGERDEAD MAN". Don't miss any of it!

We're closed on Thursday. Duh.

And then Friday we open at noon and we're pouring a stout aged in Maplewood wheated bourbon barrels. And then at 9pm we've got a free live show from the Leo Milano Group as they slather on some jazz for you to help you get through the rest of your weekend.

And, of course, every Tuesday is TUESDAY TRIVIA NIGHT w/ MR. KING. The deadliest game of trivia in Chicago starts at 7:30pm every Tuesday!

GAY AGENDA! Friday Open Mic! Lollygagger! Witchcraft! at IBW!

Hello friends!!!

We've got a bunch of great events this week at IBW Lodge #1 that I'm excited to tell you about. But first!

That's right! Because we love you and because you DEMANDED, we've got both GAY AGENDAand SLUSHY 666 back in the rotation. Gay Agenda will be on tap tonight and available in cans TOMORROW. Slushy 666 will be available in to-go in cans and can pours TONIGHT.

To jog your crummy memory, SLUSHY 666 is a sparkling fruit beverage with about 30% fruits of Raspberry, Banana, Sweet Cherry and Marshmallow. Weighing in at 6% ABV, Drei Sexxxer - Germany's premier Hair Metal band of your mind who grace the cans - will be your tour guide to delights time and time again. Don't sleep on these!

 And, while you're here boning up on the Gay Agenda, we've got some stellar events for you to enjoy as well.

TRUST is back on tap & Happy Lobster Tonight!

Ladies and gentlenerds, THE LONG NATIONAL NIGHTMARE IS OVER.... TRUST is back on tap at IBW Lodge #1.

I can't tell you how excited (and relieved!!) I am to have Old Faithful back in the house slathering her salacious sud-a-rific sensations on your saliva makers! Now get over here and drink some why don't you?

We also just put ORANGE SUNSHINE back on tap and in cans last night. And, just in time for the greatest holiday of the year, PAZUZU'S PEDALS is back here at the Lodge and in 4-packs to take home and apply for all your infernal affairs.

We still have some Ecto-Slushy here on the board and in the to-go cooler don't forget.

Mind you, IBW Lodge #1 is the ONLY place you can get 4-packs of Ecto-Slushy. All our off-premise accounts only have 2-packs. So, you terrible green-fiending freaks need to come to the horses, uh, mouth to get the volume you need. This is a once-a-year materialization and, when it's gone it's gone!

As if that isn't enough reason to come see me behind the bar tonight, we've also got HAPPY LOBSTER FOOD TRUCK here from 5pm - 8pm to give you something to shovel on top of your gallons and gallons of TRUST you are hammering back.

So, come on by tonight, go home, get some rest and then head down to Grant Park tomorrow to show you not only care about this grand American Project of democracy and cognitive liberty, but you're willing to DO THE WORK for it. And then, when you're done standing tall with your fellow brothers and sisters, come on back to IBW LODGE #1 and take a load off again!
